Courtney graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Business Law and Marketing), with distinction, from Curtin University of Technology in Western Australia in November 2006.In recognition of her outstanding achievements at University, Courtney made a member of the Vice Chancellor's List, which recognises the top 1% of undergraduate students across all disciplines at Curtin.
In 2006 Courtney participated in Parliamentary Internship where she completed a report titled `Make it here or Jobs Disappear'. The report earned her both the Industrial Relations Society Prize from Curtin Business School and a public acknowledgment in Western Australian Parliament.
Before arriving in London Courtney was employed as a Paralegal by O’Sullivan Davies Lawyers in Perth, Western Australia. O’Sullivan Davies is a specialised Family Law firm. Courtney was with O’Sullivan Davies from September 2006 until December 2008.
Courtney joined Osbornes in June 2009 as a Paralegal in the Family Department. In her spare time Courtney enjoys socialising with friends, playing netball with the Putney Blackbirds and travelling.
