- Disputes with leaseholders or landlords
When a number of people live in the same building it is necessary to regulate their relationships with each other and with the freehold owner of the building. This is usually a lengthy and complicated document.
It is a fact of London living that many of us will live in leasehold properties in multi-occupancy blocks and houses. This being the case there will often be times when disputes will arise between leaseholders and between leaseholders and the freeholders concerning parking, common areas, liability for repairs and alterations to name but a few.
There will also be times when one leaseholder will need to enforce the terms of the lease against another, as they have no direct contractual relationship with the other leaseholders this can only be done through the freeholder who has a relationship with each lessee through the lease.
