The family team comprises four partners, Julian Beard, Mark Freedman, Bridget Thompson and Lisa Pepper. We have  two leading  consultants, Naomi Angell and Simone McGrath both specialising in childrens law. In total 18 solicitors make up our specialist team.

Family law encompasses a broad range of disputes. Our team includes independently accredited specialists in all of family law including divorce, matrimonial finance, pre nuptial and post nuptial agreements, cohabitation, children law, child abduction and adoption.

The department also houses Alternative Dispute Resolution lawyers who specialise in mediation and collaborative law.

Our solicitors are members of Resolution, the association for family lawyers committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes, including divorce,  working within Resolution’s code of conduct. As such we are committed to providing clients sound advice which is tailor made for you and in your best interest depending on the facts of your specific case.

Our solicitors are all approachable and fully recognise the anxiety and distress that family disputes can cause. At the same time we also all have a commercial, practical and realistic attitude to dispute resolution for their clients. The department also undertakes publicly funded work when clients are eligible.
