I’m (not) loving it after personal injury at McDonalds

A customer at a McDonald’s restaurant has been awarded £1,100 in compensation after breaking a tooth on a piece of metal found in his burger!

Kevin Smith was eating a quarter pounder at one of the outlets when he bit a piece of aluminium metal which was lodged in his burger. This resulted in part of his molar breaking, causing him a significant amount of pain and discomfort.

Mr Smith complained to the outlet manager and was unhappy with the way it was dealt with. It also took five return visits to the dentist to repair the tooth.

McDonalds admitted liability and offered Mr Smith £1,100 in compensation to resolve and close the matter.
