Electrician fall from scaffolding platform results in personal injury claim
A 48 year old electrician who fell through a scaffolding platform has received more than £130,000 in compensation.
The electrician was removing a smoke alarm from the ceiling at the time of the accident when he fell through the scaffolding platform he was standing on. As a result of the accident the man suffered from acute subdural haematoma and has been left suffering with a number of brain injury symptoms, including memory loss, lack of concentration, and severe fatigue.
The injury has had a significant impact on the man's life, he has been left with the risk of developing epilepsy, which obviously affects his ability to work in his chosen profession.
The compensation he received will help him to adapt to the challenges he will face in the future as a result of the accident.
