Cyclist receives compensation after road accident

A cyclist who was on his way to work has been awarded £1,400 in compensation after a pothole caused him to fall of his bike.

The fall caused him to graze his jaw and hand as well as causing a cut to his chin.

The local council admitted liability for not maintaining the road and an out of court settlement was agreed.
