A woman who was involved in a road accident whilst on holiday has received 800,00 Euros after sustaining a serious brain injury.

The lady was on holiday in Rome at the time when whilst crossing the road she was knocked over by a scooter. She was rushed to a hospital where she had lifesaving brain surgery following which she had to remain in hospital in Rome for over a month. When she was well enough she was flown home by air ambulance. On arrival she was immediately admitted to hospital and underwent 18 months of rehabilitation both at home and as an outpatient.

With the assistance of an Italian lawyer and after lengthy negotiations the case. The total compensation award inclusive of costs and came to 800,000 Euros.
