After obtaining a degree in History, Sue decided to pursue a career in law. She joined the firm in 2002 as a trainee solicitor and qualified as a solicitor in 2004. She was made an associate in 2010.
Sue works on all aspects of family law but has a particular interest in children cases. She regularly represents parents in care proceedings, and in private law disputes, including residence and contact disputes. Sue has also represented other family members in such proceedings.
Sue also acts for clients in financial matters where they are seeking divorce or where they are not married. This work has included representing unmarried parents seeking financial provision for their children.
She also has regularly obtained non-molestation and occupation orders for clients suffering violence from their partner.
