Previously a journalist, Ruth decided to change career after having two children. She trained at Osbornes and qualified into the family department in 1999. Ruth specialises in Children Law, particularly child care work and is an accredited member of the Law Society Children Panel. Ruth deals with cases involving physical injury, sexual abuse, emotional harm and neglect. She represents parents, children and wider family members.
As well as public law care proceedings, Ruth undertakes adoption cases and a broad spectrum of private law children matters. Ruth is a member of the Association of Lawyers for Children, the North London Children Lawyers Group and Resolution.
