Having completed her training contract at Gordon Dadds Lisa qualified in October 2003 and joined Hughes Fowler Carruthers. She moved to Mishcon de Reya before joining Osbornes in May 2006. Lisa is a Partner in the family department.
Lisa specialises in all aspects of family law, in particular complex financial cases on divorce, disputes concerning children and the unmarried family. Lisa represented the successful applicant mother in the reported case of B v B [2007] EWHC 789 (Fam) which has set a precedent. She is a qualified collaborative lawyer.
Lisa is an active member of Resolution which is an organisation of approximately 5,500 lawyers and family justice professionals who believe in a constructive, non confrontational approach to family law matters. Their website is www.resolution.org.uk. Lisa's Appointments within Resolution are:
Chairperson of the Young Resolution London Committee;
Member of the National Resolution Skills Committee; and
Member of the Resolution London Region Committee
Lisa is a regular speaker
at the London College of Law and mentors a student there each
year.
