Wendy Wright

Wendy is the firm’s senior partner and co-heads the firm’s personal injury department with Stuart Kightley. Wendy has been with Osbornes since 1981 and has specialised in personal injury work and medical negligence since 1990. She has enjoyed success in two recent substantial stress at work claims, has recovered one of the highest awards for negligent cosmetic surgery for one of our clients.

Wendy is involved on a daily basis in claiming compensation for clients who have had road or industrial accidents. 

   
Stuart Kightley

Stuart runs the PI department with Senior Partner Wendy Wright. After a spell with the Crown Prosecution Service he joined the firm in 1994 in order to specialise in PI work. Early successes included his first full trial where the Claimant with a badly broken ankle recovered £250,000 damages, and another substantial settlement in a case where a design fault in the cab of a London bus caused the driver a repetitive strain injury.

   
Sophie Davies

Sophie is a senior lawyer in the personal injury department and an Associate of the firm. She has specialised in personal injury for 9 nine years and has a wide ranging caseload. Recent successes include recovering over £500,000 for a client badly hurt by the driver of a stolen car.

   
Siobhan McIvor
Siobhan has worked in the Personal Injury Department since 1998, when she started as a paralegal, before qualifying in 2001, and deciding to specialise in personal injury law, which she has been practicing now for over 8 years (with two years out on maternity leave.)
   
Charlotte Williams

After graduating with a 2:1 degree in English from Leeds University, Charlotte completed her training at the College of Law in London and at Russell-Cooke in Putney, where she gained experience in personal injury and clinical negligence, and qualified in September 2005. Charlotte joined Osbornes as a solicitor in the Personal Injury department in October 2005.
 

   
Chris Collins
Chris joined Osbornes in 2003 and has several years experience in handling all types of personal injury claims. Recent cases include a £60,000 settlement for a motorcyclist injured by a hit and run driver, and a successful claim against a taxi driver whose passenger opened a door injuring a passer by. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and his qualifications include a Graduate Diploma in Law and the Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
   
Anna Pask
Anna graduated in Law at Swansea University and undertook the Legal Practice Course in Bristol. She worked as a paralegal for a national firm before joining Osbornes Personal Injury Department in March 2004. She became a trainee solicitor in October 2005. Anna qualified as a solicitor in October 2007 and rejoined the Personal Injury Department.
   
Joseph Askham

Joseph recently graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a 2:1 in Law (Sandwich). He also has a Diploma in Professional Practice obtained whilst working at Hodge Jones and Allen LLP.

   
Michael Cockings

Michael qualified as a solicitor in 2009, having trained at Osbornes.

He graduated from the University of Manchester with a 2:1 honours degree in Law and completed the Legal Practice Course at the Bristol Institute of Legal Practice. He gained legal experience working as a Civil Litigation Case Manager in the Official Solicitor's Office before commencing his training at Osbornes.

   
Jaroslav Bernat

Jaro works as a paralegal at Osbornes. He was born in Slovakia in 1980 and has lived in London since 2000. He is currently in the second year of a law degree course at London Metropolitan University. He is a fluent Slovak/Czech, Hungarian and English speaker.

   
Philip Lee

Philip studied law at the University of Nottingham and graduated with a 2.1 with Honours. After university, Philip began the Legal Practice Course part time at the College of Law and joined Osbornes in January 2010.

   
Nisha Puri
Nisha Puri

Nisha studied law at Kings College London and graduated with a 2:1 with Honours. She recently completed the BVC at BBP law school in Holborn. She joined Osbornes Personal Injury department as a Paralegal in June 2010.
