Collaborative Law Negotiations

Collaborative law negotiations are all about you and your partner sitting down with your respective solicitors in order to reach an agreement in a respectful and dignified manner.  We all four of us work together to come up with a solution which is best for your family, albeit a separated one.  We have a series of meetings to find solutions to whatever issues need to be resolved.

At the first meeting, both solicitors and you and your partner would sign a Participation Agreement, agreeing the way the meetings should be conducted, and confirming that if either you or your partner decides the process is not right for you, and you would prefer to start Court proceedings, then your solicitors can no longer act for you.  This ensures everyone involved is committed to the process and to resolving your issue(s) outside of court.

Lisa Pepper is a specialist Collaborative lawyer and her details can be found here. If you would like an initial chat with Lisa about the Collaborative process and whether it might be right for you, please call 0207 485 8811.

Your next step

If you require advice on any family law issue contact us by calling us or by filling in an online enquiry form.

You will speak to a member of our family solicitors London team who will have a confidential chat with you, taking down specific details of your situation and what you need help in.

We will then let you know whether we can help you and arrange for a convenient time for you to come to our office, meet your solicitor and discuss your case in much more detail.
